serpent factory

I’m a self-taught photographer living in the emptiness of Central Illinois with an ever-growing collection of cameras. I shoot both digital and film but prefer the way toy and vintage cameras change the world with blur. I’ve begun making my own cameras and lenses from broken cameras and household objects.

My work focuses on the natural, rural, and urban landscape and how these places change and disappear over time. I also experiment with new photographic processes to transform the image into something new.
